Frequently asked questions.
Everything you need to know about BanquetHub, venue pricing in India, and how our AI Concierge works.
What is BanquetHub?
BanquetHub is India's curated wedding & event venue marketplace. We hand-pick banquet halls, hotels, palaces, farm houses, gardens and rooftops across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. Hosts enquire through us, our team qualifies the brief, and we surface the right shortlist — free, no booking fees, no sign-up.
How is BanquetHub different from WeddingWire or WedMeGood?
BanquetHub is a lead-aggregator model — every enquiry comes to our concierge team first. We qualify date, guest count, budget and venue fit before passing to venues, so you talk to one trusted contact instead of being called by 15 different venue salespeople. We also use AI for instant venue search, side-by-side comparison and review summaries.
Which cities does BanquetHub cover?
Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai today, with 4,700+ active venues. Pune, Mumbai and Delhi NCR are being added in 2026.
Is BanquetHub free for hosts?
Yes — completely free. No enquiry fees, no booking fees, no sign-up. You only pay the venue directly when you book.
How much does a banquet hall cost in Bangalore?
Per-plate veg menu prices in Bangalore range from ₹500 to ₹3,000+, with most mainstream banquet halls in the ₹800–₹1,500 band. Non-veg adds ₹200–₹500. Venue rental is typically bundled with a minimum guest count (e.g. 200 guests at ₹1,200/plate).
How much does a wedding venue cost in Hyderabad?
Hyderabad sits slightly below Bangalore on average: ₹600–₹1,200 per veg plate is common at full-service banquet halls, while heritage palaces and 5-star hotels run ₹2,000+. Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and Hitec City command the highest rates.
How much does a wedding venue cost in Chennai?
Chennai veg menus typically start at ₹500 and go up to ₹2,500+. ECR and OMR have a wider price range; T. Nagar and Anna Nagar are mid-market dense. Many Chennai venues are veg-only by default — confirm if you need non-veg catering.
How do I book a venue through BanquetHub?
Three steps: (1) Find a venue via search, the AI Concierge, or the 60-second match quiz. (2) Send an enquiry — name, phone, event date, guest count. (3) Our team confirms availability and pricing within minutes, arranges your site visit, and you book directly with the venue.
How quickly does BanquetHub respond to enquiries?
Typically within minutes during business hours (Mon–Sat, 10 AM–8 PM IST). After hours, we reply by 10 AM the next morning. WhatsApp gets the fastest response.
Can I do a site visit before booking?
Yes — site visits are free and coordinated by our team. We confirm a slot, share the venue's contact for the day, and brief you on what to ask (parking, alcohol policy, payment milestones, etc.).
When should I book my wedding venue?
For peak winter dates (October–February) in major Indian cities, 6–9 months in advance. For summer or off-season dates, 3–4 months is enough. Last-minute (under 60 days) is possible but options are limited to venues with cancellations.
How does BanquetHub's AI Concierge work?
Type your event in plain English — "garden venue for 200 in Whitefield under ₹1500 per plate" — and the AI Concierge parses city, type, capacity and budget from natural language, then returns 5 matching venues with one-line reasoning per pick.
What is the BanquetHub Venue Match Quiz?
A 5-question, 60-second quiz: city, occasion, guest count, vibe, per-plate budget. Our AI returns 3 hand-picked venues with personalised reasoning per match. Completely free.
Can I compare wedding venues side-by-side?
Yes — the /compare tool takes 2 to 4 venues from your shortlist and runs them through Claude AI. You get a side-by-side spec sheet (capacity, prices, policies) plus an AI verdict on which to start with and the real trade-offs of each.
Do BanquetHub venues allow outside food / DJ / alcohol?
Policies vary by venue and are listed on every venue page. Bangalore venues are roughly 60% alcohol-friendly; Chennai is stricter (alcohol licensing is harder), and Hyderabad falls between. Veg-only kitchens are common — filter for "veg only" or ask our team.
What is the typical capacity range for a wedding banquet hall?
Most Indian wedding banquet halls host 200–800 guests. Boutique venues start at 50; larger palaces and convention halls handle 1,500–3,000+. The right capacity depends on whether you're planning a sit-down dinner (lower capacity per square foot) or a standing reception.
How can I list my venue on BanquetHub?
Submit your venue via /list-venue. Free to list — no setup fees, no monthly fees. Standard onboarding takes 24 hours and we only forward qualified, vetted enquiries to your team.
Who owns the customer relationship — BanquetHub or the venue?
BanquetHub manages first-touch and qualification. Once a host's intent is verified (date, budget, guest count), we forward the lead to the venue for the site visit and final booking. The venue owns the booking from that point.
Are BanquetHub photos real or stock images?
Real. We use Google Places API for 80%+ of venues — actual on-the-ground photos. Venues without Google listings get hand-uploaded photos. We don't use stock photography for venue covers.
What data does BanquetHub store about me?
Only what you submit: name, phone, email, event details. We don't track you across other sites and never sell data. Full details in our privacy policy. You can request deletion any time at info@banquethub.in.
